My Approach

I’m especially excited to work with organizations and projects that amplify the voices and stories of marginalized communities.

My approach with students and clients centers around intentionality and curiosity, informed by training and experience in areas including mindfulness, non-violent communication, visual arts, family caregiving, trauma theory, memory studies, non-profits management, literary magazine editing, sustainability practices, social justice advocacy, and speech-language pathology.

Teaching & Mentoring

I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring learners from multi-racial and geographically-diverse backgrounds in the U.S. and South Korea.

With my teaching background, I have developed and facilitated over fifty in-person and online learning opportunities for non-profits, tech companies, arts and conservation-focused organizations, and institutions of higher education.

Learners include first-generation students at a women’s college, immigrants preparing for citizenship exams, public school teachers, career changers transitioning into UX design, adults gaining digital literacy skills, community garden members, social justice activists, ESL students, and plant-based medicines and psychedelics communities, to name a few.

And, of course, I’ve taught quite a few courses for those curious about creative writing and literature!
